The Caveman Paleolithic Diet

The Paleolithic diet is similar in some ways to the Atkins diet, which puts an emphasis on avoiding carbohydrates. However, the main emphasis of the diet is that it encourages you to eat only foods that could have been gathered or hunted, as well as grains. Processed carbohydrates, such as those that are found in cereals and breads are discouraged with the diet, making it not only healthier than the Atkins diet, but in recent years more popular as well. The regimen focuses more on an overall lifestyle and approach, rather than just being a diet, which has also persuaded some people to see it as a holistic nutrition plan.
The diet is so successful because it virtually eliminates the processed foods which are unfortunately all too widely used today and puts an emphasis on natural and nutritious foods.
